The song "あ"(A) is a universal recognition of passivity when arriving in a new environment, it is simple, but contains the urgency to integrate into the new society.
The design draws on the colors of the Ukiyo-e to graphically break up the staircase from the bottom up, corresponding to the changes in the song that occasionally jump out of regular chores, mapping the artist's incomplete integration with his surroundings.
